Stevens Pond Foliage Photos
We had a quest to kayak every pond we could in Sutton, Massachusetts. As we had gone to the three big ones - Manchaug, Singletary, and Ramshorn, we had worked our way down to Stevens Pond. This is a private pond. We therefore had asked our friends Paul and Anne if they knew anyone who lived on Stevens Pond who would let us explore it and photograph foliage.
Paul and Anne have a friend, Barbara, who graciously agreed to let us put in at her dock. Thank you so much to Barbara, Paul, and Anne for your delightful help!
On October 10, 2011 we took our kayaks out onto Stevens Pond in Sutton, Massachusetts. It was a gorgeous day to be out on the water. We saw several ducks as well as fish on our kayaking explorations. There's a beautiful waterfall at one end, where the water comes in, and we could kayak right up to its very nose.
