ARTICLE 9. DRIVEWAYS
These general bylaws are official as of October 20, 2003. The are the last known revision as of March 17, 2007.
Section 9.1 General Provisions; Penalty
No way or driveway shall be constructed leading into a public way without obtaining from the Highway Surveyor or the Board of Selectmen a written permit within 60 sixty days of the start of construction of the said way or driveway. No way or driveway shall be constructed or maintained which shall discharge water onto or upon a public way or into a public drainage system without the permission and under the supervision of the Highway Surveyor. Any violation of this bylaw or any order of the Highway Surveyor or the Board of Selectmen shall subject the owner and/or violator to a fine of ($20.00) twenty dollars per day for each day of violation or take any other action as the law may provide.
