2006 Powwow - Nipmuc Indians
These photos were taken with the greatest of respect of the high quality artisans, dancers, singers, drummers, and participants of the 2006 Nipmuc Powwow. This Powwow is held anually at Hassanamesit, which is within Grafton Massachusetts. This land was part of the very original Sutton land grand in 1704.
The Nipmuc have beautiful traditions and I highly encourage people to visit upcoming Powwows and to support native American crafts and heritage.
