Upper Lincoln Road blocked

A massive trio of trees took out power lines – and snapped a telephone pole – past 86 Lincoln Road.

Central Turnpike Clear

Central Turnpike by Purgatory Road is now clear for driving, the road crews have gotten that tree off the road.

Manchaug waterfall

The Manchaug waterfall is roaring but still not nearly as impressive as the Tricentennial Park deluge.

Central Turnpike Blocked

There’s a big tree blocking the road and lines down on Central Turnpike between the five way intersection in Northbridge and Leland Hill Road.

Blackstone River amazingly turbulent

We’re at Tricentennial Park in Sutton – the Blackstone River is amazingly turbulent. We’ll post video soon but it’s worth seeing in person if you can.

Millbury Bike Path

The Blackstone Valley Bike Path in Millbury, near the mall, is completely flooded. The Blackstone River is up far over its banks.

Lincoln Road Flooded

The stream on Lincoln Road at its top near Central Turnpike has overrun its banks, the road is flooded about 6″ high. In addition there’s a large tree hanging dangerously on the roadside power line just past there. Be careful.

Rte 146 Lights Out

The traffic lights on Route 146 at Boston Road are blinking right now in Sutton.

Central Turnpike blocked

Central Turnpike – there’s a tree down – the road is completely blocked between Route 146 and Purgatory Road.

Trees Coming Down

Giant cracking and thud from house on left. Then two minutes later giant cracking and thud from house on right. Winds are fierce right now. Stay safe.
