A barred owl was just hooting Very Loudly outside my Sutton MA window. I finally got up to record its song – and after two hoots it stopped.

Strange Large Grey Bird

I’ve been birding in Sutton for 15 yrs and just saw the oddest bird! Larger than blue jay, medium grey, dark head top area. What is it? Update: Aha! It was a grey catbird! I haven’t seen one of those in *eons* and I thought they were smaller. Cool!
