The forsythia are blooming, the bleeding hearts are out, the day lilies are creating long, green fronds but not quite to the flower stage. We don’t have mosquitoes yet, but in the lovely late-spring weather we do have tons of tiny gnats. Where do these things come from? Better yet, where can we send them to? Surely something eats these things? Maybe the billions of peepers that sing a song every night.
