Icy and Cold

We were very lucky yesterday – we were supposed to get yet another 6 inches of snow but luckily it came down as rain instead. That leaves us still with a crust of snow from before, now coated with a super-slick icy top. Maybe someday soon we will get spring!

Yet More Snow

Just when we were getting some good melting going, and starting to see some grass in the lawn, we get another 2 inches of SUPER SLICK snow tonight, making the roadways very challenging to drive. Weather in the 40s

We may actually get the remaining snow to melt soon! The next two days should be in the 40s, including rain today. We will see! Time to start those indoor greenhouses to get the seedlings started!

Sunday will be 38F

Hurrah! We will get over-freezing temperatures on Sunday! That “ice rink” we call a driveway might actually melt. I couldn’t even get my mail today, because it was too dangerous to walk down to the mailbox. It was like a sheet of glass. I’ll keep my fingers crossed for the sunshine tomorrow!
