Ghost Spider / Anyphaenidae
Ghost spiders belong to the Anyphaenidae family of spiders. These spiders tend to have eight evenly spaced legs of about equal length, and despite their name, they do not go OoooOOOOO! They can move fairly rapidly across walls or floors. They are typically light tan to medium tan in color. These ones I've seen in Sutton Massachusetts are specifically from the Hibana Gracilis species. They are light tan and have a darker tan line going alongside either side of the head. Their legs have little black hairs sticking out from them, and the legs fade to a darker brown at the tips. There are also a pair of stripes leading from the eyes across the back of the head, going about halfway. This poor little guy lost a leg at some point in his life.
