Bumblebees are friendly bees! They rarely sting, pollenate our flowers and fill our summer days with a soft BUZZing. The buzz is not made by their wings - it's made by their muscles. Bumblebee wings can flap 200 times every second!
Bumblebees are part of the Bombus genus. There are many sub-types of bumblebees. This bumblebee was spotted in Sutton on a tomato plant.
