Brown Lacewing - Bugs and Beetles in Sutton Massachusetts
Brown Lacewings are moth like creatures with really thin wings, hence their name. I don't have any photos of the adult form right now, but we did spot a Brown Lacewing larvae on our dill plant. It's fairly small which is why the camera had trouble focusing on it! Look at those antennae! Lacewings are in the Hemerobiidae family. The larvae are brown and long and thin, with six legs and two long antennae.
